appeals to... - you look fantastic. - the 25-to-54 demographic. "hot" is about l.a. women of a certain age who begin new lives in cleveland after discovering they're still desirable. - don't miss "hot in cleveland," next, only on tv land. i always like to call "hot in cleveland" comfort food, which is basically like tv land. you just get a bunch of comfort food watching that network, and our show fit right in because you're so used to seeing our faces around that it almost blended seamlessly. - well, i think tv land really knew its audience because they have been running classic sitcoms as reruns for years. so when it came time to do an original-- you know, write one and do an original-- they knew that audience was out there, and they aimed for it, an old-fashioned sitcom. we couldn't be more traditional. - and so many shows now are skewed toward such a young audience that you miss, like, the base notes. - but i'm always shocked as well, at the amount of young people who come up and tell me they love the show and people watch it with their kids and their husbands. -
